  So you need to know what you are getting into when you get here.  A rural MN bar on one side with a supper club on the other.  Nice menu and as a whole for a rural MN place it is pretty good.  Salad bar is definitely a step above the typical place like this that only has iceberg lettuce, croutons, Bac-os, cheese, cherry tomatoes and carrot shavings with french and ranch for dressings.
  
  As a whole, a step above the others in its food genre.  For that I'll give it 4 stars.  
  
  But if your arteries are feeling healthy and you want a good old fashioned greasy meat sandwich have I got the 5 star recommendation for you.  The ribeye steak sandwich.  Might be sacrilegious to put a nice steak on bread, BUT.... Freshly cut and grilled ribeye, toasted bread and lots of butter.  Do you need anything more?  A good beer to wash it down?  Sure.  But that's it.  I can't get away from this every time we go through here.  It is simply fantastic.  Again, juicy steak, butter, toasted bread and more butter.  Wow.  Comes with fries I think.  I don't really care what it comes with actually.  Probably will contribute to my early death from heart disease.  But oh well.  Life can't be all salads and smoothies.

  We drive 30 miles to eat here once a year. We like the Wednesday surf and turf special. The early bird special are a incredibly affordable. This isn't a gourmet restaurant, but the food is good and the prices are half, or less, of what we'd pay for a similar meal in the Cities. Decor, lots of stuffed animals, is typical for the region.

  Want to give this place 4 stars when compared to other sub par restaurants that inhabit this area. But I am keeping true to my rating scale and giving it 2 stars. Service usually good, food sub par, ambience super dated, but have salad bar.
  
  Sunday lunch buffet is not good. Bland food, little options, instant potatoes, and shoe leather roast beef(see pic)! Also Soups mediocre and soda only comes in the can. Guy(owner) only pops out here and there to slice me so if ya wanted a piece of shoe leather to chew on he wouldn't be there to hack it off the boot for you. Anyhow, Would not recommend.

  This place us amazing!! I highly recommend it. They have great steak, burger, roasted chicken, shrimp, and there wing and homemade bread is very great! Also very friendly waitresses, and great service!

  Service was not bad for the amount of people. The food was good. Not spectacular but good. Definitely worth the price paid for the meal.
